Ernie - was fabulous… Alley, The owner was not present and we did not see her… If it wasn't for Ernie I would have left. Ernie did the best she could to make up for the B&B's lacking. The town of Williams is very quaint and close to the Grand Canyon… We enjoyed walking around Williams taking in the sights… Route 66 was fun. Ernie recommended the Thai restaurant next-door and it was fabulous !
What a fun, unique place to stay! We spent the day at the Grand Canyon on our way through AZ and knowing Williams AZ, I knew we could stay there and have an enjoyable time on Rout 66. Alley was fantastic and communicated completely about what to expect. Pleas note that if you are going to stay in Williams you need to understand it is a town built up around getting the rail road into the canyon in the early years. It is a frontier town and expect it to have that feel. Buffalo Point Inn is this type of place. It is rustic, down home, sweet and simple. Marie made a perfect frittata for the guest in the morning. She said it was her version of a crustless quiche. LMBO. She was kind enough to throw a second one on when I asked. We loved this place and felt it was a nice ending to a long day out hiking.
