This is a non smoking house. Guests should be respectful and kind and leave the home as they found it. They will be asked to sign a simple rental agreement and especially to enjoy the home and many acres of hiking and walking trails surrounding it. For safely reasons - you are asked not to go up into the attic or down into the basement or in the barn. If you would like to bring a dog, I ask a $50 pet fee and require pets to stay downstairs and off the beds and furniture. Please bring your pets favorite toys, food bowls and bedding or blankets. (there is a queen bed downstairs if your pet need to sleep near you.) Please note this is not a "party" house. Fires outside in the fire pit - use only "camp" wood - I leave a small amount next to the blue barn wood can also be purchased locally or or gathered from the woods. Do not use the hardwood - it is for the indoor woodstove. You must leave the house as you found it with dishes clean and put away, counters, stove top and refridgerator clean and wiped. Quality 100% cotton linens and towels make up the beds and baths - but you need to bring your own beach towels. The washer and drier is available for your personal use. Trash is to be put in the outside cans in the shed and recyclables in the marked bins on the porch. If the rules are not followed you may be charged accordingly. Thank you! And enjoy!
