This apartment is centrally-located and ideal for a Parisian vacation. Perfect for families. I'm a professor and lawyer, and work often takes me out of town for the weekends (usually to London or Berlin), but otherwise it serves as my principal residence.
The neighborhood is great: I'm located right next to one of the most famous cheesemakers in France (Fromager Quatrehomme). There's an amazing butcher and laundromat across the street, and a traditional French bar/coffee shop on the corner, that also serves lunch and dinner. At the other end of the street is a Michelin-starred restaurant (the only Japanese restaurant to receive a Michelin star in France, called Aida).
3-minute walk to the closest Velib station (free bicycles)
5-minute walk to two metro lines and three bus lines.
10-minute walk to Paris's nicest upscale department store (Le Bon Marché) and one of the largest and best gourmet supermarkets in Western Europe (La Grande Epicerie).
10-minute walk to the heart of St. Germain.
15-minute walk to the Luxembourg Gardens.
20-minute walk to Invalides.
25-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.
It's really a great place in a great location.
I'm sometimes in Paris, sometimes not. But I'm always a text message away, and there is always someone in the neighborhood that guests can contact with any trouble.
There will be a small deposit, due to the valuables I have in the apartment (which of course are free for your use)
Please respect my place -- it's my home.
I'm an American entrepreneur and professor who's been based in Paris for the past 5 years. Work often takes me out of town (usually to London or Berlin), so my place is often available for short stays.
I'm also a jazz/blues musician and regularly play around Paris, as my work schedule permits.
Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to discuss a possible stay.
