We had a fabulous stay and plan on staying again when we are in the area. We are a family of four, with two kids of 10 and 14 who are generally well-behaved and quiet. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and immaculate (if my kids were younger/rambunctious, I might think twice for that reason). Included is a full, excellent breakfast which we enjoyed very much - first morning was a large and tasty frittata, the second was scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and fried potatoes - both days also had toast, OJ, fruit salad and choice of hot drinks. Our elder child's dietary restrictions were kindly accommodated.
Each of our two rooms had its own bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed staying here far more than a hotel. Clean, quiet, great food and great company.
Our family enjoyed the pool table and Foosball, and there are also lots of board games, books, and a big TV in the den, smaller ones in each room.
The location was great for us to visit family and friends in the area - Seattle is a bit of a drive, mostly because of the traffic. The hosts have good suggestions and knowledge of the area if you need information on things to do or see.
I do strongly recommend getting directions before setting out - Gabriele offered beforehand, and in the spring break rush, I opted to use my iPhone to navigate. It dropped a pin a ways north of the actual location - we did get there in the end. It is actually fairly easy to find with directions, much to my chagrin. Cell phone coverage can be spotty that far out, no matter which company you use, so get directions first.
We really enjoyed meeting Gabriele and Siegfried. I think they offer an uncommonly good airbnb experience. Highly recommended.
