I look forward to meeting you and am happy to help during your stay with any advice or assistance you may require. We can provide some catering if you wish, most popular for winter stays. This can be discussed prior to or during your stay and is flexible to account for your travel plans, busy schedule, island hops or budget.
'In the summer when the weather is warm there is no better place to be!' is a local saying! Winter stays can also be sublime with a cozy home to return to. The quality of light, colourful skies and the drama of the weather is quite inspiring, mild days with no wind and clear starry skies at night, captivating.
In bad weather or if storms are forecast, do check the conditions on the roads further north and also the ferry status as these routes can be disrupted at short notice. Again, just ask if you need local advice.
Check in is flexible and we ask that guests vacate their rooms by 10.30am on day of departure. If you will be arriving after 6pm please let us know so that we can arrange our evening accordingly.
No smoking inside the house but you are welcome to smoke outside disposing of cigarette buts responsibly of course!
