This is for a room in our home accommodating visitors who want to stay near the Downtown/Capitol Hill scene. Includes access to private bathroom. Shared areas such as living room are available for limited use.
The room is located on the first level of our 3 story home. Guests will be given access to the bedroom, bathroom and some living space. This is perfect for those looking for a weekend stay in the city, first time visitors to Seattle, or those getting ready for a career move and need a short term place to stay while looking for your permanent home. The room has a new Queen size bed. We can provide some towels during your stay.
We utilize a key-code entry system, so no hassles exchanging keys. We need to stick to the 3pm Check-In and 12 noon Check Out to ensure a smooth arrival and departure for everyone. Please make arrangements ahead of time if you cannot meet these times.
We are a 10-15 minute walk to downtown/convention center.

We are a 15 minute walk to Seattle University
Our home is located close to bus lines, coffee shops and many boutique shops.
We do have a mini dachshund named Rash, in the house who is friendly, loving and will be excited to meet you. We can keep him with us if dogs aren't your thing.

We utilize a key code system to access our home. Instructions are emailed once your booking is confirmed. You'll have access to a private room in our home with an attached private full bathroom. We provide clean sheets, and towels for your use. A hairdryer and iron are also available for use (commonly asked for items), just let us know.
We try not to interfere with your adventures in our city. We are typically available by phone, text or Airbnb messaging system for any questions or concern. In short, we are friendly inviting people who would love to meet and learn about our guests, but we are not offended if our schedules don't match up.
Kitchen is not available for use, however the microwave and refrigerator can be used to heat or store food, if needed.
Here are some basic guidelines for booking our room:
1. Please ensure that you're booking our space for yourself. We do not work through third parties.
2. Your profile must be filled out because we need to get a sense of who you are since you'll be staying in my home.
3. Pricing is as listed. We keep our calendar up-to-date. Understand the Airbnb does charge a service on top of our rate.
4. Please make sure to read the house manual once you're approved. We've outlined everything you need to know in there.
We expect guest to be respectful of our home. Please clean up after yourself.
Please let us know your check in and check out times - we can be very flexible if you let us know your plans.
We expect you to enjoy yourself while visiting, but we kindly ask no parties, no smoking and no drug activities while staying with us. Also, nightly occupancy should not exceed what is originally arranged, so please no unexpected guests.
If you need something, please ask - we will certainly try to accommodate.
We're easy-going couple on Capitol Hill in Seattle. We love hosting on Airbnb, driving our MINI Coopers and experiencing new travel adventures.
Our mini-dachshund, Rash, keeps us busy and will want to welcome you if you stay with us. He's excitable and friendly. Many guests have commented on his ability to make you smile.
We love to show people around our fair city; open to giving you ideas of places to go, restaurants to eat and attractions to see.
If you're staying with us, we'd to happy to extend some ideas for exploring Seattle and surrounding areas. We tend to leave you to your space when you stay with us, but we are happy to answer any questions. We expect guest to be respectful of our home.
If we're visiting you, we would love to hear your tips on getting to know your city. Quaint shops, good and cheap eats.
