Our home is 1.5 miles walk to the station, then 24 mins to Waterloo. We have a lovely quiet double room available + television/dvd. Own Bathroom, shared Kitchen with own fridge. Restaurants, take away and supermarket 5 mins away. (New young dog in House now)
A nicely decorated double room now with carpet and large wardrobe. Appointed with the mod cons: TV/DVD, Coffee and Tea making facilities. Iron and Ironing board available.
We live in a highly desirable English country village, Horsell. Amenities, such as mini super market, Veg store, Bakery, Butcher, fantastic restaurants and takeaway; these are all just five minutes away. There are four classic English pubs within a half mile radius. The Cricketers and Red Lion are our favourite for traditional English look and dining.
Our home is a very pleasant 1.5 mile walk to Woking station (which lots of locals use), it's then a 24 minutes fast train to London Waterloo with Trains every five minutes during peak times. Average taxi fare is £8 to the station. Galaxy taxis' usually £5.
We are only 8 miles away from the theme park Thorpe Park; legoland and Chessington are close too. Windsor Castle, Virginia Water Lakes, Polesden Lacey, Guildford town are also highlights. For kids there are Bocketts Farm and Bird World/Alice Holt, which are all driveable days out.
Our family home is an open planned 3 bedroom semi detached house directly opposite Horsell Common, which is perfect for walking, with cycle routes locally.
There is plenty of non-regulated off street parking. Bed changed and fresh towels on request.
Virgin broadband Wifi is available at the moment and a personal TV and recording box is available in the room.
We plan to remove this TV in January 2017 as most people stream to there computer via wifi now. Its not being used.
The lounge is also available for use with the same facilities.
We are a professional husband and wife with a five year old son. We have nicely fitted family bathroom which will be yours and downstairs shower room, which we use. During your stay, you will have the use of the kitchen in a shared way with your own fridge, sole use of the bathroom save for kiddy bath time for a 20 min period between 7pm and 8pm and Henry needs to use the toilet in the mornings. Double room with very comfy double bed. Wardrobe and hangers as well as drawers. Clearly Toys feature in this household and little ones are welcome to use them.
I am an Artist and work from home, my Art is on most walls.
We now have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is one year old. He is an absolute cutey and very friendly with visitors.
Any queries or questions don't hesitate in asking. I'll answer as fast as possible.
Guests have access to all rooms and garden excepting the private bedrooms.
Different people like different things from their visit. I am happy to be friendly and inviting and give advice if you're not local. But equally happy to let business persons etc get on with what they need to do and leave well alone. We are friendly and chat if you want it.
Our price reflects that we offer facilities to cook your own breakfast, but don't offer food itself. Tea and Coffee are no problem.
We ask that you are aware of the sleeping little one. He does wake up at around 7am. No smoking allowed indoors, but we are happy for you to use the garden. If you have bikes with you, we could accommodate one in the front garden shed and a key to access the pad lock. Although you have the sole use of the family bathroom, we shall need to give Henry a bath between 7 - 8pm and he sometimes needs to use the toilet first thing in the morning. Full access to Kitchen utensils, but please keep things cleaned up where appropriate. Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer are available. Please just ask if you'd like the Ironing board and Iron. There is a hairdryer in the room. You can use all the tea and coffee making items. Because most people use the wifi for streaming, we are likely to remove the TV. We would prefer additional strange guests not to be brought into the house but happy to discuss. We need to be flexible on the driveway parking spaces as there is only one exit point. Though there is plenty of street parking too.
I am currently a stay at home mum, but have been Head of Art at a local school until recently and with this obviously comes a passion for the creative. My home is punctuated by paintings. I am currently creating new work for exhibitions. My husband is a solicitor. I am fun, outgoing and enthusiastic person. I play hockey for Woking Hockey Club from September to April. I have been on a gap year with my husband, so have an appreciation for other cultures and exotic destinations. My current favourite TV series is 'Game of Thrones'.
As a host, I am happy to help out with anything you should need. I'd consider myself a laid back individual, with an open personality.
My husband and I have got a lovely little boy. He is the light of our lives and is used to company. He will leave you alone if we tell him too.
