My husband and I stayed at Louise's place for four nights in September. We arrived late on Friday evening and her sister, Henriette, was there to greet us. Louise also recommended we take the metro from CPH to Nørreport which turned out to be great - it was just a 10 min walk to her place and the metro was much less expensive than a taxi. Checking in with Henriette was very easy. She gave us the essentials (like wifi!) and we had her phone number in case we needed anything. She also lives very close by so she would be available if we had any issues (we didn't). The apartment is located very close to Rosenborg Gardens and there are fun restaurants, bars, shops and things to do all around. This also means there's a lot of traffic on the street at some times (more people & bikes than cars, though). There is also some construction currently on the street. The apartment is on the first floor (up a flight of windy stairs). It was clean and was very comfortable. It has eight windows overlooking the street and a few more windows on the other side overlooking the courtyard, so it gets plenty of natural light! It's also quite spacious and has all hardwood floors (except the bathroom) which we love (just like home!). The bedroom & living room are on the street side and the bathroom & kitchen are on the courtyard side. The bedroom gets a breeze with the windows open so we didn't need air conditioning (not sure if the apartment even has it). With the windows open the street is loud both at night (especially weekends!) and in the morning so we both used earplugs and I also used an eye mask to improve sleep quality. The bedroom windows have blinds to block some light, too, which was fine for my husband. I was definitely prepared for some noise based on reviews of pretty much every centrally-located place in Copenhagen, so it was not an issue at all. The bed has a memory-foam topper on it, so it was soft, which I really appreciated after several prior nights on firm German mattresses! I would say the bed size is similar to an American queen. It was nice to be able to relax on the comfortable & spacious leather couch in the evening and have a glass of wine. We never cooked or used the kitchen tools (other than wine & water glasses!) but Louise seemed to have everything you would need to make a great meal, including some key basics like oil, spices, etc. There is also a grocery store fairly close by. She also left out dishwasher detergent packets and kitchen towels so we wouldn't have to hunt for them. We really enjoyed staying at Louise's place. It was a great location in the center of Copenhagen! We were walking distance to all the sights as well as excellent restaurants and shopping areas. I...
Louise's apartment is located in an area perhaps "as good as it gets." It's literally across the street from the Royal palace and its huge green park, 5 minutes' walk to vibrant nightlife (nyhyvn), and 5 minutes' walk to a train/metro hub. The apartment is tastefully decorated, and both the living room and the bedroom are quite spacious. I booked her apartment at the last minute, and Louise met me shortly after, which I greatly appreciated. She was warm, helpful, and cheerful. She is well traveled, and speaks immaculate English. Afterwards, she responded to messages promptly. Highly recommended.
Takk for oss!
I booked Louise's apartment for my colleague who needed to stay in Copenhagen for business reasons for about 5 months. Considering the long stay in Copenhagen, he decided to bring with himself his wife. I booked this apartment for them and they confirmed that have enjoyed very much their stay. Louise has been very nice from the first approach and the apartment was clean, cosy and tidy. Hope my colleagues have left the apartment in the same conditions. I certainly recommend Louise and her apartment.
