Welcome to Henån on Orust and the wonderful natural surroundings of Rånäs. Here you can enjoy the sea just a bathrobe away, with refreshing swims throughout the day, sand between your toes, sun-warmed rocks to relax on, or why not a lovely walk in the beautiful surroundings. The guest house, best suited for a “small family,” is located right by the rock and offers its own boule court as well as a patio with a barbecue, a soft lawn for sunbathing, and peaceful relaxation. Inside, there is a combined living room and dining area, along with a bookshelf filled with interesting books to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a stove (2 burners), extractor fan, oven, refrigerator, mini-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and a high chair. In the living room, the sofa can be converted into a double bed (135 cm). There is also a separate bedroom with a bunk bed (80/120 cm). Fiber internet and Wi-Fi are available. The bathroom includes a toilet, washbasin, and shower. If a washing machine is needed, this can be arranged with the owner for a small fee. The surrounding nature is rich in wildlife. Valeberget, once used as an ancient hillfort, is now a protected bird area. From the southeastern part of the mountain, those without a fear of heights can enjoy a breathtaking view 60 meters above sea level. The fjord outside is 70 meters deep and offers good fishing opportunities for those who wish to try their luck. The center of Henån is just under 6 km away and offers a wide range of shops, a liquor store, bank, library, restaurants, tourist office, and more. Henån also hosts several events during the summer. If you enjoy shopping, don’t miss a visit to Göksäter, where you can find almost everything “between heaven and earth” at great prices. On Orust, there are many activities for both adults and children, such as kayaking, diving, fishing, golfing, or simply enjoying a refreshing swim in the sea. The city of Gothenburg is 80 km away.
