The room is large and bright, with king size bed. Furnished kitchen and bathroom to share with the other room.
Sorry, no smoking, no pets. There is NO INTERNET CONNECTION, but there are free wi-fi spots nearby.
Bright and large (20sqm) room, with a ceiling height of 3.50m, antique flooring, king size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, desk, chairs, armchair, chest of drawers, bookcase, etc. The room, recently redecorated, has PVC double glazed windows, opening two ways, and thick walls to keep it warm in winter and fresh in summer.
Furnished kitchen and bathroom to share with the other room. In the kitchen you'll find fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and washing machine that is also a tumble dryer, beside pans, pots, bowls, plates, cutlery etc.
Linen will be provided on request.
The apartment is located on the first floor of an umbertine style buiding built in 1870, close to Termini Station and Piazza Vittorio, in front of the historic building of the Mint. The building has an elevator.
Colosseum, Roman Forum, the Basilicas of San Giovanni (St John) and Santa Maria Maggiore (St Mary Major) are at easy walking distance, as well as the University La Sapienza.
In the area there are buses, metro and tram connections to both airports of Rome (Fiumicino and Ciampino) and to the rest of the city.
On the square and on the nearby streets there are restaurants, shops, pubs, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, and a covered market. And, one the most delicious ice cream shops in Rome, Fassi, is at a stone's throw. I can provide you a list at the check-in.
It' a district full of history, but also lively and multiethnic, symbolized by the Orchestra of Piazza Vittorio, a group formed by musicians from around the world who has had and continues to have an overwhelming success both in Italy and abroad.
From July to September quality films from the italian and international cinema of the cinema season just ended are projected on plein air on the square; in December a Christmas market is set up under the arcades.
The nearby Amber Jovinelli Theatre, where performed Ettore Petrolini, Toto and Alberto Sordi, offers a program that ranges from comedy to new drama and it is a great place for a drink, while the Brancaccio Theatre, 10 minutes walking away, offers cabaret, dance and music shows. At 15 minutes walking there is Rome's Opera Theatre, for ballets and opera lovers.
