I am an Australian woman who has been living in France since 1975. I have 2 grown-up children who are now married and have their own families - son and 4 children in Amsterdam and daughter with 2 children, living nearby here. I spent my first 15 years living in the Dordogne area restoring old stone houses with my partner. I moved from there to Paris where I had a very interesting, exciting and adventurous time working in the French cinema industry as a production coordinator. During that time, I found my 15th century house in Anjou which was dearly in need of some love and care, so over the years I've been restoring, renovating and generally having a great time bringing the house back to the land of the living. When I decided to retire I was able to acquire the adjoining property which has now been converted into a comfortable and I hope, hospitable haven for people who enjoy the history and architecture of "old" europe, good food and wine ....
