Our Victorian home is located in a quiet tree-lined street between the High Road and Tooting Common. The sunny bedroom is at the top of the house and has just been redecorated, so it's fresh and bright and ready to welcome guests! Great travel links and free parking, perfect for sightseeing in London or for visiting family and friends in Streatham and Balham. We do have a further room on Airbnb if you need more accommodation.
Whether you are coming to London to visit relatives, sightsee, go on a course, or need somewhere to stay whilst working, we are the perfect base.
The south facing bedroom is on the second floor and has it's own bathroom. The comfortable double bed is covered in 100% cotton linen and soft fluffy towels add a little luxury.
The large kitchen is the hub of the the home and you are welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee throughout your stay. At breakfast help yourself to yoghurts, cereals, toast, and freshly made tea and coffee.
Wifi is available, and if you are driving here there is plentiful and free parking.
We share our home Jasper a two year old West Highland White terrier. He's friendly and very curious and we have discovered he can sniff out the smallest piece of chocolate in the blink of any eye!

We love getting to know our guests and as we know London pretty well can give recommendations on where to go (even some off the beaten track secrets), what to see and where to eat.
We joined the Airbnb community five years ago and have met some wonderful and interesting people. We are happy to have guests staying for a couple of days or longer and feel that we offer a safe and secure place - especially if you are coming to London for the first time and need to get your bearings. We're also perfectly placed for visiting family and friends in Streatham and Balham - especially grandparents coming to see their grandchildren!
There aren't many...

Grew up on the South Coast mucking about on boats, had a 4 year stint in Newcastle upon Tyne and then came to London to work (and play). Met my husband, Graham (a born and bred Londoner) and have been here ever since! On the way we've produced two children - now in their twenties, renovated a couple of houses, acquired a dog and a couple of cats and have a passion for cooking and bridge (me) and playing in a band and relic(k)ing guitars (him). Airbnb has introduced us to some fantastic people and we really enjoy helping our guests get the best from London - culturally, gastronomically or just where the best places are to shop! We look forward to seeing you!
