I am so glad your family enjoyed the house, location and island. I hope you return again soon. Thanks you very much for your feedback, Darla. I have noted the need for more supplies and will remind my team for when I am not there. I strive to make sure guests have the basic items to enjoy their stay. I completely understand how warm the afternoons can be. My favorite solution is going for a late afternoon swim. The listing states the A/C is only in the bedrooms, which is a great (and sometimes rare) amenity in Caribbean, as you know. When we discussed your concerns about A/C prior to your visit, I reiterated it was in the bedrooms only. The bedroom units are not designed to cool the kitchen and living room; they do not have enough BTUs. The current (locally popular, crank-out) window style in the kitchen and living room is not conducive to A/C, as they do not close tight. I am planning/budgeting to upgrade the 2 large panels of windows in the kitchen and the 3 large oceanfront panels of windows in the living room so I can add A/C in the near future. It is an involved, messy, costly undertaking. When you return, I hope to have that upgrade completed. It is on my short list. The afternoons can be very warm in the peak of the summer. The rest of the year it is quite comfortable. Guests often do not use the units in the bedrooms overnight outside of the summer months. The ocean breeze keeps guests comfortable and allows them to hear the waves crashing at night-one of my favorite things about being on the beach. Safe travels to you and yours, be well.
