A beautiful cottage decorated in neutral colours and made up for your stay with love and care.
We are delighted to provide you with the opportunity to stay in our beautifully restored, early 1900s dwelling. We hope to provide you a lightly luxurious experience in the way a lucky local would live. The house is of medium size with 2 main large bedrooms, 1 smaller bedroom, 2 bathrooms (one with separate toilet, one shower, one bath) and comfortably suits up to 5 guests.
We think we have the basics right (luxury queen beds, hotel quality linen, pillows, doonas and towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps and hairdryers provided, central heating, electric blankets in the master bedroom, fully functioning kitchen, washing machine and dryer, immaculately cleaned, soft neutral furnishings that hopefully will suit most tastes, 2 bikes available on request, extra TV in the master bedroom…) and we enjoy sprinkling a little magic (leaving a few extra treats) before your arrive to surprise and delight.
If it is a special occasion or you can think of something particular you may need for your stay when booking, let us know as it is likely we will be able to assist.
In Hobart for work?
Sitting at the medium sized desk in the sun room just off the master bedroom is a great place to create or fine tune a presentation or report or simply clear out those emails. I’ve tackled difficult projects here myself a few times and it almost doesn’t feel like work sitting here…
You will have full access to the house. Two sections of the wardrobes are not accessible still leaving you with ample hanging and storage space.
We respect your privacy so will leave you alone once we have settled you in. We will leave you with a pack of local information but we are happy of course to help with questions and directions should you choose to call on us!
Please no parties or smoking inside and whilst we love pets, please no pets.
I live in Hobart with my family- husband, 2 lovely girls and little dog. I love travelling, spending time with family and friends, sharing in feasts of amazing Tasmanian produce and drinking Tassie Sparkling whilst sharing stories with loved ones - new and old.
