Our cozy and comfortable 1 bedroom apartment is a retreat from the bustling city. It easily fits 2 and is centrally located on a quiet street. Steps from 3 major transit lines, trendy Leslieville, and Riverdale Park. Plus a private backyard.
This house was built in 1880. It is a charming old cottage that has been renovated and updated within the past 5 years. The self contained basement apartment has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, plus there is a sofa bed in the living room. The place is furnished with a mix of old and new, original artwork, plus it has a sweet record player with an eclectic selection of old vinyl.
There is a well stocked kitchen, bathroom with a tub, and laundry inside the apartment. Perhaps the most important feature however, is the large backyard with a BBQ. This is a shared part of the house but guests are more than welcome to enjoy lounging in the shade of the old Maple tree.
The apartment has its own entrance via the side of the house. Guests have independent access to the apartment and shared use of the backyard.
We will generally be around to let people in and out. We live in the main part of the house but generally keep to ourselves. We may run into each other in the backyard, especially in the summer!
If we are around, we are always happy to answer questions or give advice and tips on the city and/or the neighbourhood.
Apartment is equipped with all linens/towels, complimentary toiletries, and coffee/tea.
This is a family friendly, queer positive, ethincally diverse neighbourhood.
No smoking in the house.
If you do smoke, please do so in the backyard and dispose of your butts in the available receptacles.
Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
No pets please. Sorry.
In the spirit of AirBnB, please respect the place and the neighbours as they were your own.
