Lismacue House, set amid a 200 acre estate, is a classically proportioned Georgian house and a haven of peace and tranquility. It has been in the owners family since 1704. It has one of the most impressive lime avenues in Ireland, planted in 1760.
It was an experience like none other. You arrive to a time and place that is both magical and the stuff of movies. An 18th Century home hosted by Jim and Kate who are as warm and welcoming as the surroundings. Views of the Galtee Mountains and a fully functioning horse farm replete with a number of spring foals who, along with the house dog, Luther, greeted us upon arrival. Wonderful nature walks, trout fishing, golf are all at your disposal. The house is strategically updated to preserve the patina of a bygone era without sacrificing modern convenience (hot water, wifi)
