Beautiful place. Comfortable and spacious. Very modern. And Gabriella the house keep was amazing. Barely spoke an English but amazing none the less. And since it was our honeymoon they gave us a bottle of champagne. Wifi was great. All you have to do is turn it one. Nice high rise. And awesome shops and restaurants all around. And pretty easy to find. Just was very responsive as well. Thank again for the awesome stay.
The apartment is beautiful. It is modern and open. There is a lovely kitchen, one bed, a nice bathroom and sauna. However, the location is not great if you are a traveller. We walked everywhere and it was at least a 40 minute walk into the touristy area of Rome to all of the sites that we wanted to see (Coloseum, museums, etc.). In addition, the WiFi was not working, which was a huge downfall, and the host did not do anything to assist us in fixing this lack of wifi problem. We did not meet Massimiliano face to face, just his housekeeper who only speaks Italian. She was very, very nice, but obviously there was a language barrier.
The host had his neighbor walk us into the apartment and talked to us for about ten minutes until he arrived. The apartment was way beautiful, way better than the picture makes it seam. The neighborhood was a bit crowed but the apartment is in a very secure complex with a extremely thick door.
Staying at Casa Moderna was a great experience. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the pictures, clean, modern and cute. The neighborhood: we found that the best way ti mobilize in Rome is via Metro, but the apartment is far from the nearest station Marconi. However, there are buses right on the corner that go to the station in 10 minutes. But there is sometimes a wait for the bus. There are supermarkets and a great place that sells frozen sea food right next to the apartment. We used the sauna once and it was relaxing. The Host: we didn't get to meet Massiniliano, he left us the keys with the neighbor who welcomed us in italian, a very nice lady, she showed us everything, but she doesn't speak any english. Apart from the location, a little far from the center, I recommend this place.
Everything was perfect, from the house to the welcome. The apartment itself is modern, bright and has a killer AC that saved my life in the sweltering roman heat. The neighborhood is very safe, vibrant and authentic, full of shops, restaurants and cafes. Massimiliano was super responsive to any need as was the lady who manages the apartment and lives just across the hall. I don't really have many words to describe how warm, kind and accommodating these people are! It was a great experience and i will definitely come back any time i'm in Rome again.
