This newly renovated studio cottage sits on one of North Berkeley's most desirable streets. We are at the top of the North Berkeley Hills. Nr hiking, golf, & Tilden the cottage is just minutes away from the wonderful restaurants and cafes of Solano Ave, the Gourmet Ghetto & Cal.
(Please Note: I keep dates blocked a few months out. If you are interested in a longer term stay, please check with me. The Cottage may be available.)
Common sense and neighborly courtesy are appreciated. We love our neighbors and we do not want to create a situation that is unhappy for anyone. Everything in moderation.
We're sorry ~ But no animals in the cottage. No dogs, cats or geckos, etc. The natural environment offers an abundances of owls, raccoons and deer that roam freely outside.
No smoking of any kind in the cottage. Respectful and safe smoking outside on the grassy area is okay (at least 20 feet from the cottages please) However, we make no promises that the neighborhood kids won't give you a hard time for smoking while explaining the potential dangers to your health and the environment. It's Berkeley after all.
What a pleasure to host guests at our cottages via Airbnb! Hosting guests has been a wonderful opportunity to meet people from all over the United States and the world. We hope that you enjoy your stay at our cottages! (We welcome longer-term reservations ~ just contact me)
We love to explore new restaurants and are happy to talk with you about various places to dine in Berkeley. There are so many places to visit and parts of the East Bay to see! I work in real estate and have been living in the area for over a decade ~ We are happy to help with any questions you may have.
When I'm not working, I can be found on the tennis courts or ski slopes, voluteering at the Berkeley Public Schools Fund or working to improve run-down buildings in Berkeley & Oakland... or maybe sampling a new cocktail.
I've a graduate degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and worked for years as a management consultant in the U.S., Latin America, and the Middle East before becoming a real estate advisor in Berkeley.
Also, a California native with an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara. (Love the Bears & go Gauchos!)
We look forward to hosting you during your stay ~
