Modern apartment in North Oakland in one of the nation's hottest markets. Large dine-in kitchen with modern appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, two super comfortable queen beds with memory foam mattresses, wireless internet and TV (with Roku). Located in the heart of North Oakland, 2 miles from UC Berkeley, walking distance to BART, close to lots of restaurants, theaters, cafes and grocery stores (Berkeley Bowl, Whole Foods, Trader Joes). Great for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers.
It's hard to tell from the pictures but the apartment is fairly large at ~850 square feet. It's nicely furnished and fully stocked with everything most travelers need. The apartment can easily accommodate up to 4 people. It is on the second floor, up one small flight of steps. Owner lives next door and available to assist guests as needed during their stay.
Mostly everything guests need is located within the apartment itself. There is a small backyard area and a small storage space in the front of the building which guests are welcome to use to store luggage or other small items. There are only 3 parking spaces (and plenty of street parking) but I always try to make one space available to guests.
Owner Adrian lives next door and can help with anything guests need during their stay. Feel free to call, text or knock at my door. I'm pretty easy going and know the area pretty well.
There are only 3 parking spaces (and plenty of street parking) but I always try to make one space available to guests. Owner lives right next door and is available to assist guests during their stay. Also, please note the extra $25 per night fee for additional guests beyond 2 people (up to 4 total). This is primarily to offset additional utility costs.
I'm pretty easy going but common courtesy applies. Please treat the apartment as if it were your own. If you need anything during your stay, just call or text me.
I am a San Francisco Bay Area native and frequent traveller. I love the San Francisco Bay Area and am proud to call it home, but equally love broadening my perspective through frequent travel and cultural immersions. I feel fortunate to have met some great people around the world and within my country (USA) through travel, and am always very happy to show a newcomer the best my city has to offer. I live in an awesome place, and having my good friends and family close by provides me with the best of both worlds.
I love Cuban salsa dancing, exercising at cross-fit or Bikram Yoga, hiking or biking trails, bar hopping in Oakland or San Francisco, or surrounded by books and magazines at one of my favorite cafes.
I am a laid-back guy who loves good people and making new connections. I'm excited to be part of the AirBnB community - both as a host, and as a traveler.
