Room with queen bed in a lovely bungalow on a quiet street. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars and cafes. Minutes from Ashby BART and AC transit routes. Modern, yet cozy and warm home with lots of light, space and greenery. Fast wifi!!
This is our first home and we're happy to share it with you!
Excellent and fast wifi, Internet-connected tv in the living room (with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon), kitchen with stove, microwave, french press, blender, toaster, etc.; you will have your own bathroom, though it is not directly connected to the room. We will provide clean towels and linens during your stay.
We have an extensive tea collection and lovely coffee beans available for you to make your favorite hot beverage.
We are busy, but happy to say hello and generally give you any local advice and recommendations you need. Eric works from home on his laptop, so he is accessible, if wanted (though likes to abscond to his workspace in the basement or to a local cafe).
No smoking, please. Please do not wear shoes in the house (we have a crawling infant). Otherwise, enjoy!
Kendall is a social worker that works to improve the well-being of families and educational outcomes for children. She enjoys: cooking, traveling, rock climbing, singing, dancing, community, biking, historical fiction, video chatting with her niece and pancake Sundays with her husband.
Eric likes to climb mountains and rocks (preferably crack), traveling all over the world, and going to see live music. He graduated from Boston University and a computer engineer by trade, but can also make a mean lemon bar, challenge the best in chess, and knock you out with his delicious alcoholic punches.
We love to host and hope to share our lovely home with you!
