I'd love to welcome you to my Great Blue House. Built in 1910, it's in excellent condition, with lots of coziness and space. It sits in Portland's bustling South East, giving you a great base for exploring our fine city.
At 2170 sq feet and two stories, the house has a bed, sofa-bed, and fold-down sofa to sleep 5 in private rooms, with room for one on the living room sofa and two on a queen mattress that can be laid out in front of the fireplace. There are hardwood floors throughout, and I don't have any pets, so those with allergy sensitivities will be fine.
Guests have full access to the house: wood-burning fireplace; home theatre with projector, screen, and surround sound; full kitchen with gas stove, appliances, cook- and dishware; dining room; downstairs guestroom; upstairs office; upstairs bedroom; downstairs bathroom with bath and shower; upstairs bathroom with shower; partial basement with washer and dryer; backyard with deck, furniture, and grill.
I will not be present during your stay, but I will be reachable should any needs arise. And I will have a local contact who can see to any needs that may arise.
If you're staying long-term, you're welcome to plant the garden bed out back, and enjoy the apples and plums from the trees in front. Regarding the photos, the house is not in an upside down bizarro universe - that's the website's fliparoo.
I've put a lot of energy into creating a clean, well-maintained space. I practice healing arts in my home, so I can't have pets or smoking indoors.
