Full kitchen for self catering, modern bathroom with hot water, washing machine, library and games, swimming "plunge" pool and garden to relax.
Manager lives offsite but is readily available via phone / internet contact.
Two night minimum booking.
For those seeking a truly "local" experience - Nimal can also arrange for an “off the tourist track” eco-tourism tour of a local village in the Kandy area (tea, spice, vegetable growing, paddy fields, local temples, panoramic views and wildlife, 2km+ jungle hiking) – from USD30 per person (full day) including transport and traditional Sri Lankan lunch.
Tentative dates of the Kandy Esala Perahera in 2016 are 8th - 18th August.
Guest guide with lots of practical information about the house and Kandy is available upon confirmation of booking.
The house is owned and managed by humanitarian aid workers... a percentage of profits support humanitarian and development projects in Sri Lanka.
