This smartly decorated one bedroom flat sleeps up to 4. Recently redecorated, the flat has stunning views of The Shard and is just off fashionable Bermondsey Street. It is a short 10 minute walk away from top class restaurants in Shad Thames, Hays Galleria and Borough Market - as well as museums such as The Tate, the White Cube Gallery, the Design Museum and others. The flat is close to Tower Bridge, the Globe Theatre and river cruises along the Thames. Nearest tube is London Bridge.

Instructions for 302 Vesta Court

From London Bridge tube/railway station, walk East along Tooley Street and turn South along Bermondsey Street when you get there. Walk under the bridge and turn right at Morocco Street. Continue along to the end of Morocco Street and you will see Vesta Court, which is one of the buildings in City Walk. SE1 3BP. About 10 minutes walk from London Bridge.

Put the black fob up to the key symbol to unlock the door. Take lift to 3rd floor, right out of the lift. The key unlocks the top and bottom locks.

The Flat
Upon entering, the alarm will beep. Ignore it, it isn’t connected and it will stop beeping after a few minutes if the front door is closed.
The Bedroom is straight ahead.
If you need to use the heater in any of the rooms then switch the electricity on by the switch just next to the heater and stick it on to the level you want. Please remember to turn it off when you leave the flat.
To open the window in the Bedroom, turn the latch and it will open a few inches. If you want to open it further, or to shut it, you need to press in the latch on the left hand side of the frame and push or pull the window at the same time.
There is a fan for the bathroom which you need to turn on if it doesn’t come on automatically. The switch is the big switch above the bathroom door. After a bath/shower, the room gets very steamy so open the door a bit and put a doorstop under the door to keep it open to allow some air in and demist the mirrors. You can turn the heater on to dry towels. The switch is also above the bathroom door outside – it’s the one on the right. Please ensure you turn the heater off when you leave the flat.
Water is heated up over night. If you have a bath/shower in the morning and want to have another one during the day then turn the hot water on as there might not be enough. To do so, open the cupboard opposite the bathroom. Straight ahead of you is the control for heating the water. There is a small button, the only one, which you press in and a red light comes on. It takes a few minutes to heat up the water.

Should all be pretty obvious. To operate the dishwasher, turn the dial in the door, when open, to the setting which is largely wiped out – it seems to be the only one that works properly. Add a dishwasher tablet, in the cupboard under the sink, and press the on button, also in the door, then close the door and it should come on automatically.
The waste disposal (button to the left of the sink) isn’t great so please don’t overfill it with food. It obviously needs water running while you have the waste disposal working.

To operate the TV, open the left hand flap of the TV console, where the sky box and amp for the speakers are located. To turn the TV on, press the red button on the TV (SONY) remote. To turn the sky box on press the on button on the sky controls – a light on the sky box should turn green. The TV may or may not come on with sky channels. If it does not, and the sky box is on, press HDMI on the TV remote and it should come on – you need to have the TV on the HDMI setting to work the TV, we’re not connected directly to a TV aerial.
To connect the speakers, press the red button on the smallest remote, which is for the speakers. They should come on automatically and you can then control volume via the TV remote.
If you press the multi-coloured button on the middle of the TV controls you get the “smart TV functions” which allows you access to BBC iplayer along with ITV and Channel 4 On Demand so that you can see old TV shows.

If you want broadband, there is a wireless modem in the flat. Your wifi device should see that there are several sky wifis available. Mine is skyfe168. The code you need to enter on your device is ATYPYQTU.

To get rid of any rubbish there are some large dustbins in the Basement. You will need to take your key fob to get back in from the basement – otherwise you will be trapped down there! The dustbins are now locked in a room in the basement and the key to get into that room is 3576.

CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 3pm AND CHECKOUT is 10am. Please let us know if you would like to request an earlier check-in or later check-out which, depending on bookings, may be possible.

This is a NON SMOKING property.

PETS are not permitted in Vesta Court under any conditions.

SECURITY/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A security deposit of £140 is required. This must be received within five (5) days of booking the flat. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:

•No damage is done to the property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
•No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents or
services rendered during the stay.
•All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in rubbish bin, and soiled dishes are
placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
•All keys are left on the [kitchen table] and unit is left locked.
•All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
•No linens are lost or damaged.
•No early arrival or late departure without prior approval.
•Parking passes are left inside the unit upon departure.
•The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the
local law enforcement.
PAYMENT – Payment of rent is required in full 14 days prior to arrival. Please make
payments via bank transfer as per the Invoice. The advance payment is not a security deposit.

CANCELLATIONS – Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made between 14 and 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full reservation deposit. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 14 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to four (4) people. An additional charge or £20 per person per night for guests in addition to two (2) will be made.

MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a three (3) night minimum stay. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate.

INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Facilities fees are
included in the rental rate.

NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate.
We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property.

RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – Any booking obtained under false pretense will be subject to
forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be
permitted to check in.

WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be
approved in writing in advance.

PARKING – Local parking tickets, enabling you to park in local residential parking spaces, are available at a cost of £10/day and subject to prior notification.

ELECTRIC HEATERS – There is an electric heater in the lounge, hallway and bedroom and they can be turned on manually. Care must be taken to ensure that nothing is left covering these heaters and, especially, the door to the lounge should not be kept open if the heater in the lounge is on. We recommend that you turn off all heaters before leaving the flat.

HOT WATER – The water is heated up overnight and should provide enough for daily showers/baths/washing. However, if you need more hot water then you can turn the hot water on via a button inside the utility cupboard (more details provided in the Instructions booklet which will be in the flat upon arrival).

DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be
flushed at anytime.

We recommend you take out travel insurance for your trip.




Apartment was spotlessly clean and meticulously well-equipped, including what may have been the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Graham, Sax and their daughter went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. Sax's art and their children's photographs of London landmarks were a nice decorating touch. We also appreciated Graham's write-up explaining how everything works. Great water pressure and plentiful hot water were even better, as both are London rarities. Area was extremely quiet. We slept with the window open every night and were never disturbed. Buses were less than five minutes away, while two tube stops were 10-15 minute walks. Bermondsey Street has many nice restaurants and is just a block away, while the Borough and Maltby Street Markets and the Beer Mile (a string of craft breweries open to the public on Saturdays) were also within easy walking distance. We would happily stay here again.

Graham did a great job communicating the apartment's look and feel through description and pictures. For our vacation, the neighborhood was perfect. We far prefer being southwark and this location allowed us to walk to most of our favorite places. We would gladly come back and stay here again!

Dies ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung in einem sehr angenehmen Wohnquartier. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und sehr gemütlich. Ich würde jederzeit wieder die Wohnung von Sax und Graham mieten. Zum Shard braucht man zu Fuss knapp 10 Minuten und von dem Bahnhof Tower Bridge ist jede Ecke Londons einfach zu erreichen. Die Wohnlage ist ruhig und denoch hat es in unmittelbarer Nähe diverse Möglichkeiten in ein Pub oder Restaurant zu gehen. Auch ist kann man wunderschön der Themse entlang in die City spazieren. Die Wohnung ist sehr zweckmässig und mit viel Charme eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Schlüsselübegabe hat auch super geklappt und auf meine Mails wurde immer prompt geantwortet. Thank you Sax and Graham for your nice flat.

Had a lovely stay at Graham's London Bridge flat. Great location & the flat has a great view of the shard. Flat is better than shown in the photos - a clean, modern, fully equipped flat. Couldn't fault it & would definitely stay again.

The apartment is really nice, better than expected! IT is really new, we had verything we need (iron, coffe machine, wifi, ... ) and all works well and is clean. The location is perfect. Close to London Tower Bridge and with many good restaurants near. Graham and his wife, were nice and they give us the keys in the airport. Easy and fast. I defenitly recomend it.

Graham met us at the property and immediately made us feel welcome . The flat was exactly as described and very clean and immaculate .He explained everything and even supplied fresh milk .The flat is convienantly situated and we walked to London Bridge in less than 10 mins . We would certainly stay again when next in London . The flat has spectacular views of the Shard and Gherkin etc and a small balcony overlooking the square shown in the photo . Graham kindly contacted us during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory for us . We were very pleased with our booking and have absolutely no complaints
