We are happy to assist you with any suggestions for dining, how to get around, etc.
The room will be cleaned thoroughly between guest visits. Linens and towels will be fresh for your stay.
Our dogs naturally get excited, so when you arrive, we will be meeting you downstairs at the entrance or in the garage with our big dog. He needs to sniff you out before entering our home to be comfortable with you (and ensure that you're not a burglar!). We kindly ask that if someone in the building opens the door for you, or if the garage is open, that you call us anyway and stay downstairs so we can meet you there.
We do spend time at home (given our random schedules), so please be aware of that.
Please be comfortable with the fact that there is no lock on your bedroom door. This is our home, and while we do welcome guests in, we are respectful of your space as we expect you to be respectful of our home and our belongings.
We are a SHOES OFF home upon entering, so please respect that. We have a shelf and cubby available to you at the door.
No smoking permitted inside...outdoor patio is allowed.
This is a quiet building so please no loud music or TV blaring. We are respectful of our neighbors.
No overnight visitors other than booked guests.
Please turn off air conditioner/TV/lights when not in use.
Close your door so that our dogs won't go through your things, please! And please throw any food wrappers and store any food you may have in the kitchen, so the big guy doesn't rummage through your garbage (it's a real thing).
Please don't feed the dogs (especially the little one) due to stomach sensitivities.
Use of Laundry machines and Laundry supplies are complimentary. We do ask that, if possible, laundry is done after 6pm to conserve energy. We like to be environmentally aware:)
The use of spices and such is open to guests...we have a pretty stocked cabinet! A cupboard and shelves in the fridge will be labeled "guest" for your items in the kitchen.
One of the keys to enter is very VERY valuable. If lost, guest will have to forfeit deposit to replace it, so please, for your sake, don't lose it!
Unfortunately we can't allow pets, as we already have 2 in our household.
Originally from Canada. I'm an entertainer at heart, and I love food, dessert, ice cream, ice cream, and ice cream. We love to go to the movies, love trying new places to eat, especially if there's ice cream. We're very loving to our dogs, so if we talk to them we're actually having a legitimate conversation. I was bored one day and decided to build my own patio furniture because I refused to spend a lot of money. So if you do like hanging out in the patio, it was seriously made with blood, sweat, and some tears.
I love traveling, especially back to New York, where I lived for a while. When I do get around to traveling, I love finding where the locals go to eat. I love shopping for everything, especially sunglasses and shoes. If I was an animal I'd be a monkey...mostly because my arms are seriously the longest things ever. I'm a very practical person at heart, so if I come across blunt there's a reason for it in my mind.
