The access to the sea at the other side of street is not easy but the water there is mostly calm and very nice for a swim, snorkeling or fishing.

Pointe Noire is a perfect starting point to visit Guadeloupe in all directions for sightseeing, beaching and walks along the rainforest trails of the national park.
All along the seaside a variety of restaurants offer the opportunity to discover our delicious local cuisine.
A beautiful ride through the rainforest at the Traversée brings you in 30 minutes to Pointe à Pitre, a very ancient and typical place.
The main town, Basse-Terre, with its shops and a colorful fruit market is a 50-minute ride to the South.
At a 15-minute ride south, Bouillante with its “ Reserve Cousteau” displays its outstanding variety of fish and coral reef for snorkeling and scuba diving situated on a black sand beach ideal for children.
Don't forget to take an evening bath at the "Thomas" thermal springs under the moonlight.
18 km north you can visit the beautiful tropical garden of Deshaies and one of the most beautiful beaches Grande Anse Deshaies
