My place is less than 10 minutes walk to Princes Street, the bus and train stations, and only 5 minutes walk from historic Calton Hill with panoramic views of the city. It's a fantastic part of town with a wide choice of great restaurants and bars nearby. Perfect if if you want to stay in a less touristy part of the city but still be close to all the tourist attractions. Although it's a double room and bed, the room is available for one person only but it means you'll have twice the space!
The flat is a traditional tenement flat complete with fire place, wooden floors and beautiful cornicing. The bedroom overlooks a shared garden so a peaceful night's sleep is guaranteed.
You're welcome to use the kitchen and living room areas. Tea and coffee is provided.
I'd be delighted to share my knowledge of Edinburgh with you and give you some tips on where to go and what to do.
I may not have thought of everything you would like to know, so if you have any questions, please get in touch.
- During the week I have early starts for work so quiet evenings are appreciated. The weekends are more flexible! I would be grateful if you don't bring unexpected guests.
- Check in is generally after 6 during the week when I return from work. However, if you are arriving earlier I will try to make alternative arrangements if at all possible.
I love to travel and am lucky enough to have had a few exotic trips over the past few years. One of the aspects I like most is meeting new people from different cultures. So while I'm based in Edinburgh I would love to host visitors from around the world and share my home city, and at the same time learn all about your travels and where you're from.
