I was informed about all the details concerning your stay at Blue Hole Gardens, and I profoundly regret having trusted you at all.
At Blue Hole we have had so many wonderful guests and beautiful weddings , that I have perhaps been lulled into a respect and trust that I give too freely .
The wedding that you inflicted on my team seems in every respect the very reflection of who you ,and your wedding party , are . Suffice it to say you brought confusion , disorganisation , violent bickering to our home ; a member of your party had the audacity to cut down every orchid flower in my garden on some insensitive whim ; your lied to me about having a wedding planner, as chaos proved , and quite frankly, your stay is considered by my team to have been a horrific experience. You did not even have the grace to remove your wedding decorations, thinking , I suppose , that because you rented a cottage , you could do as you please in my garden , which is open to the public , and for which people do indeed pay an entry fee. Sharna was very right to inquire about the funds necessary for cleaning up after a wedding that was supposed to be for eighty people. Cleaning up after a wedding is not her job, but yours. You shirked legitimate payment for extra services , even when this was pre-negotiated , as in the renting of our neighbor's field for the parking of your guests' cars, or the correct payment to Sharna for cooking for twenty people. You cannot on a whim impose a pre-wedding party for people that are not the six guests in the house, and expect my team to work for you for free. That is cheating and a form of abuse. May I just say for the record , that you paid $10 U.S. to Sharna for making that meal. You are very lucky that she had the kindness to do that service for you for such a miserable fee.
Despite the poor behaviour of you and your guests, which I could outline in greater detail , I still imagined that apologies would come my way.
I remember your tears of gratitude that you didn’t have pay for exclusive rights to the garden on your wedding day, which is a normal practice , as the garden is open to the public; your thanks seemed so sincere . Where did that gratitude go? I wonder.
I will be much more thorough in the preparation and selection of my guests in the future , as I do not wish to be swept into the personal nightmares and aggressive attitudes of disloyal clients.
You will note that I did not wish to destroy your reputation on AIRBNB , out of respect for your husband , who showed some kindness to my team, and I thank him for that.
