A deux pas du Café de Flore et des Deux Magots, dans un bel immeuble d'époque, appartement à louer Paris 6ème pour 2 personnes. Idéalemment situé dans le quartier latin, proche de tous commerces, station métro, bus, taxi et Vélib.
I guess the reason why there is only one photo of the apartment is because it is really, really tiny. The red sofa in the photo is a pull-out bed (- not a "real bed" as in the apartment description) and, once the bed is pulled out, it blocks the door so that you can only partially open it, and you have to squeeze in sideways to get through. The bed, however, was very comfortable, with a lot of pillows and a nice soft blanket. And I liked the lighting over it. The toilet, while private, is located outside the apartment, on a different landing, which was rather inconvenient especially in cold weather. Mathilda lives in the apartment so it is full of her things, and she just moves out when she has guests. She generously gave me access to the contents of her refrigerator though, and provided me with a charger for my phone. She was also very flexible with check-in and check-out times. But the location can't be beat, so the apartment is best for a short stay in the city for one person. I wouldn't recommend it for more than one person, and if you are traveling with lots of luggage, especially since the apartment is on the 5th floor with a lot of narrow, winding steps.
My friend and I had a fantastic time in Paris and this was in no small part thanks to Mathilde and here apartment. The apartment itself was compact but very clean and perfect for our needs. The location is second to none, right off Saint-Germain Boulevard and the heart of the the best of what Paris has to offer. Mathilde was very kind, polite and helpful. Also Mathilde was patient to wait for us to arrive as we were delayed by traffic. Overall I would highly recommend this place and hope I can myself stay there in the not too distant future.
