The charming and central flat in the heart of Istanbul's fashionable Nişantaşı district is a highlight of its own: Located in a quite sidestreet it's 5 minutes away from the metro to Taksim and two minutes from the minibuses which go to the Old City.
The charming flat is located in a two storey building from the 19th Century in the heart of Nisantasi, Istanbul's fashionable district right off Taksim. Many shops, cafes and restaurants are right around the corner and here you get the feeling of a real Istanbulite.
As Nisantasi is very near Taksim you can always be in Beyoglu and the nightlife in no time / 1 Metro Stop. Minibuses from here will get you to the Old City in like 15 Minutes and the beautiful Macka Park is just two minutes. If you like to see Istanbul from a local perspective but want to be near to everything this is the place to stay
The apartment has 4m high ceilings and is very spacious. A large living and dining room where you can enjoy your relaxation time adds up to a spacious bedroom with a double bed. The bedroom has its own closet. A smaller room which functions as a walk-in closet is where an extra bed will be provided.
The furniture I made partly myself as I am very interested in Interior Design and also buy from vintage&antique shops.
The walls of the kitchen, shower and separate toilet we plastered with cement to give it an edgy look. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and stove, also a kettle, an Espresso Pot and Turkish Coffee Machine are there to get you started to the day. Fridge and Washing Machine are of course provided.
As I am working as creative consultant all around Istanbul in various fields I can always provide with many tips of where to go and what to see. Lots of maps and guides I already have and will be happy to provide you.
I am always happy to help out with tips and hints about Istanbul.
I am an avid Fashion Lover and moved to Istanbul from Berlin three years ago. This city is magic and everyday I find something new to discover and explore. I lived in Berlin almost my whole life and now decided to spend the rest in Istanbul. Fashion, Music, Food, Art, Books and friends are my most favorite things in life. Here I can combine all of them with awesome weather most of the year. The clashing of old and new, of traditional and modern, of incredibly loud with incredibly quite sounds is what makes this city so lively.
As a host I can provide and help you during your stay with a lot of tips and treasures round and about Istanbul. I am guiding Design and Bazaar walking tours so if you are into these themes I think we will have a lot to talk about. Feel free to contact me if you have questions! Looking forward.
