Comfortable room for 2 adults wishing to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Jungfrau region/少女峰 and get active with the numerous outdoor activities the mountain has to offer. My apartment is located 350m away from Wengen train station. It is an easy walk that will bring you to a quiet, clean and cozy apartment. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and experience the lifestyle of an authentic swiss village in the alps, this is the place to come!

You book a private room, not an entire apartment. Total area of the flat is about 55 square meters and is composed of 2 bedrooms+1 living room/kitchen+1 washroom/WC+ 1 patio (15 additional square meters).

Main door: the main door is equipped with an electronic door so no need to exchange keys for check in and check out as I will send you a code in a private message. No need to carry your keys while doing outdoor activities or losing, forgetting keys after check out :) Check-in is also very simple and reliable as neither the host, nor the guest have to meet resulting in much more flexibility.
Living room: (about 20sq.m), the living room is a shared public common area (shared with myself or other guests in the case I am out of town). It includes a dining table for 4 persons, an open style kitchen and TV/sofa area. Cable TV, 48inch LED TV, Ipad for guests, extra mobile phone for guest use, and an extra pull out sofa for 2 to 3 persons that extends as a double bed.
Bathroom:about 4 square meters, shared room, comes in a combined tub/shower. Please help yourself with a towel when you check-in. Feel free to use the soap/shampoo/sanitiser dispenser and the hair dryer. In WC/toilet is located in the same room as the bathroom.
Kitchen: about 4 square meters. open style kitchen located in the same area as the living (URL HIDDEN) equipped with one sink, 3 cooking stoves, a refrigerator, microwave and water kettle to prepare instant noodles. Basic seasonings like salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, tea etc are free of charge.
Sleeping rooms: about 10 square meters and equipped with the same type of beds and furnitures. Mountain view.Decorated in contemporary and simple style. It comes with 2 single beds of 90*200cm (with one harder mattress that is for above 90kg weight and another softer for below 90kg persons) and duvet covers. Each room has a window and a heater (heating system only from December to April). Blinds for the windows are available as well as curtains that black out the (URL HIDDEN) aircon.
Patio: about 15 sq.meters.Can sit 6 persons comfortably. In spring and summer, the patio is in the sun from the morning to the early evening.Some neighbours have cats and dogs so for your privacy and for allergic people, I did put a bamboo fence that is 80pc transparent.
Cellar: guest have no access to the cellar and storage facilities. This particularly includes NO ACCESS to the WASHING MACHINE as it is for OWNERS ONLY (and I will get in trouble for sure if you use it).
Location: The flat is located in the city centre at the first floor of a traditional Swiss style building that holds 6 apartments. NO ELEVATOR. That implies a 20 steps staircase from ground floor to 1st floor). Below my apartment is a bar that is only opened in winter (mid-December to mid-April). Next to that bar is a located a pizzeria.
All sports activities at your own risk. I decline any responsibility in case of an accident in my house, outside of my home and during your stay. In order to protect my listing and its content, there might be or there is a surveillance system installed in and around the common areas of the building and at my listing.

SHARED SPACE: living room, dining room,WC, bathroom,kitchen, terrace. Your room is PRIVATE. NO ACCESS TO CELLAR AND CELLAR FACILITIES (NO access to WASHING MACHINE and DRYER).
I am not there for check in and check out as you can use an electronic code to lock/unlock the entrance door. I enjoy interacting with guests so if you have questions about the region, your trip, areas to explore, I will do my best to answer them. At the moment, most likely you will share the apartment with two other fellow travellers (a couple usually). If I am in Wengen at that time, I will pass by to help you arrange your trips, interact and take care of the flat. If you are not comfortable with sharing the flat when I am not there, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU BOOK ELSEWHERE. Generally speaking, I tend to accept more people who have an easy going, outdoorsy, artistic, open minded, passionate, youthful, generous, easy going, peace loving, curious, adventurous etc.... Guests who look for a cheap room and do NOT have good social skills and do not interact with myself or other guests please do book elsewhere. In my opinion Airbnb is about a social and cultural experience. The housing part is just a part of it. Materialists travellers in a high speed photo collection trip combined with a luxury shopping spree are probably better at a different listing.h
Self check-in. The main door and the bedroom doors are equipped with a digital lock so you only need a code to check in.
The code to the main door and the code to the bedroom will be sent to you once a booking has been confirmed.
By accepting a booking you accept to comply to all below mentioned house rules. No exception will be made.
House rules: General information:
In no case will I be held responsible nor will I have to cancel a booking on my behalf if you booked incorrectly. No exceptions will be made. Besides my strict cancelation policy will apply and no exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
If you still bring along an extra unregistered guest by accepting my house rules, you agree that I have the right to ask you to cancel the booking and to ask you to leave my premises immediately without any kind of compensation.
Wengen is only accessible by train. No road leads to Wengen. Parking fees and public transportation fees apply.
No sleeping in the common area under any circumstances (ie: living room, patio, terrace,corridor etc…). Sleeping in the common areas will result in the full security deposit to be waived or a min of 100 CHF being charged.
If you do not respect this, I will not let you enter my property and you will loose your booking. If you did not realise my home is not kids friendly and you made a mistake in your booking, you will have to cancel the booking yourself. No exceptions will be made.
Shared apartment with other travellers (not a rental of the whole apartment). Your room is your private space. All the other space is considered public and shared.
Breakfast is never provided.
Pets are not allowed.
No ski/snowboard boots in the flat.
Be quiet and respectful of neighbours all the time.
Wengen is only accessible by train.
Smoking is only allowed outside (on the patio/terrace).

Only people who have officially booked the housing are allowed at my listing: no external guests (ie: visitors) or additional guests are allowed under any circumstances.
Guest(s) who are not officially booked will not be granted access to my listing (ie: a booking for 2 guests is made and a third person (adult or kid/children) would want to stay at my listing.
No subletting of the flat under any circumstance.
For any type of complaint (for exemple: noise, bedbug, health issues, accident etc…), a formal message should be sent to me via the Airbnb messaging system at the latest 12 hours after official check out time. Any type of complaint should (without exception) be documented by at least two reports established by first : a doctor (in case of any type of health issue for exemple), second, the police (in case of damage, theft etc... It must be documented with pictures and sent in English at the latest 12 hours after official check out time. Failure to comply will void the eventual claim from the guest and refund(s) will not be provided. The reports will be sent to my email (EMAIL HIDDEN) The police report is mandatory for every case. All documents submitted after the deadline will be void.
Late check out will be charged 150 CHF per 24h if not notified 24h in advance.

I retain the right to refuse a guest to stay at my listing if I believe that the guest is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, behaves in a threatening, disturbing or otherwise unacceptable manner.
In order to protect my listing and its content, there is a surveillance and video streaming and recording system installed inside and outside of the common areas of my building and inside and outside of my listing/apartment. By accepting booking any type of my room(s) (private room, shared room etc..) and/or my entire apartment, all guests registered and/or not registered, accept to be video surveillanced and/or recorded. Before making a booking, please make sure that you absolutely understand this point before you (URL HIDDEN) applies regardless of the age of the guest and includes children and pregnant woman etc. Any claim made to Airbnb (or any third party) regarding video surveillance and recording will be considered void. Please make sure you understand this particular point because by making a booking you explicitly agree to all of the house rules included in this document and no exceptions will be made. If you are not fine with this particular point, I strongly suggest you book somewhere else as by making booking at my place you agree to be under video surveillance and video recording. For guests who did not read my house rules before booking, they accept not to file any complaint regarding video surveillance and video recording with Airbnb or any third party as it is made very clear on my listing.
All activities at your own risk. I decline all responsibility in case of any kind of accident and/or any kind of injury and/or any kind of health issue inside my property and outside of my home. This applies before, during and after my guests stay (registered or not)
I retain the right to ask a guest to leave should the guest disturb the peace, or annoy or insult any guests, or behave in any other way deemed unacceptable by myself.
For all above mentioned cases, the guest will have to cancel the booking from his side and no penalty of any sort will apply to me.

Guests are not permitted to enter areas of the building which are indicated as closed for non residents. I am not responsible for death, injuries or illness, or loss of or damage to property of guests that may occur while in non-permitted or in permitted areas.
Guests will be held responsible for any loss, damage or property or injury that they directly cause. I decline responsibly in all the cases.

Security deposit fee will be waived if any rule mentioned in the “house rule section” (and/or on all above listed remarks) of my listing is broken.

Any claims in relation to any kind of insects/animals/ pest (for exemple bedbugs, mice, vermin etc…) has to be documented as per below house rule: for any type of complaint, a formal message should be sent to the host via the Airbnb messaging system at the latest 12 hours after official check out time. Any type of complaint should (without exception) be documented by at least three reports established by a third party such as a doctor (in case of any type of health issue for exemple) , the police (in case of damage, theft etc..) or any relevant third party. Besides the police and medical report, in case of bedbugs claims, the guest has to get a proof from a pest control company that there are bed bugs at my listing. All costs related to those claims have to be paid by the guest and not the host. In no case will my listing and/or account be suspended, or my Airbnb activity damaged in the case of alleged bedbugs. Proofs have to be delivered and future bookings will not be suspended.
All written correspondence and text messages are to be sent in English. Messages written in any other language (for exemple, Chinese, Korean, Thai etc…) will be considered as void. This is especially important in the event a case would be opened with Airbnb resolution centre. All messages have to be written in english in order to make them valid.
For any formal complaint or issue, English will be the official language for communication between the host and the guest. All external or additional documents supporting a case should be written in English only. This includes as well all communication via the airbnb messaging system (including Airbnb resolution centre)
