Ruddyglow Park is a small, five star, country house, bed and breakfast, nestled between the foothills of Quinag and the edge of Loch Assynt in the beautiful North-West Highlands of Scotland. We offer outstanding personal service and luxurious accommodation all set against a backdrop of antique furniture, original paintings and individually designed rooms. A much loved 5 acre garden, full of well established trees and shrubs, surrounds the house giving a feel of extreme privacy but also incredible space, peace and tranquility.
We also work with nearby estates and hunting lodges to provide up-market sporting stays. For our sporting guests a drying room, rod room, secure gun cabinet and freezer are available.
Your room, the Rose Room is situated in the main house and benefits from an ensuite bathroom and a stunning view of the Loch.
There is very limited public transport available, in this region, so a car really is a necessity in order to make the most of your stay in Assynt. Once here, the adventure begins. We have award wining restaurants, cosy pubs, stunning beaches, mountains just waiting to be climbed, a local leisure centre, art galleries, and many more delightful shops just on our door step.
Please note, in some seasons we offer reduced rates for 2 nights or more, please get in touch for details.
We have other rooms available too, please see my other listings on the bottom right hand side of this page.
Children only over the age of 12 years old please.
Guests are welcome to arrive anytime after 4:00pm and are asked to check-out before 10:00am. If these times are not suitable please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Welcome to Ruddyglow Park.
On returning home after many years travelling all over the world for work, and being lucky enough to stay in some of the very best hotels I wanted to create the sort of place that I would have liked to stay in. A place where you felt special, pampered and a home from home but without the worries, a place to relax, to unwind and enjoy a little peace and quite.
The house is on a small bluff with the loch below us, a small woodland to the left and the mountains behind us. The perfect spot for pine martins, badgers, wild foxes, otters, red deer, buzzards, golden eagles and an assortment of little animals.
Weather its our iconic mountains that want to you want to climb or the paths that snake into the Little Assynt estate, cliff walks at Stoer point or miles and miles of white sandy beaches there is something here for everyone.
These are the things that I love, the openness, the fresh air, the wildlife and the gentle pace of life in the highlands. As a host I hope I can show you what a magical area this is and am delighted to do what ever it takes to make your stay here an unforgettable experience.
