Large, very spacious (8 meter high ceilings) loft with two bedrooms on two separate mezzanines, in the famous Piper Building (search for it online!).
Strictly no smoking (thank you).
Not available for parties... it's my home not a party venue ;-)
It's a very open space, unusual for most cities but especially so in London where living spaces tend to be smaller. There are big windows that let in a lot of light (and blinds to block that light).
Access is very easy. There are 2 doormen, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
In my Airbnb experience (I'm a frequent guest) getting the keys is the hardest and most frustrating part of the experience. That's never the case at my place.
The building has a lift.
I work right next door and, when guests are here, stay at my girlfriend's place which is 15min away. I'll be happy to help you with anything you need. I'm also biologically attached to my iPhone so I'm easy to reach.
Should you need car parking space I can arrange for.
Originally built in the late 1950’s by the North Thames Gas Board (later British Gas). The building was converted into unique loft apartments in 1997.
John Piper, a leading artist in the 1950s, was commissioned to decorate the exterior of the conference room wing and he produced 76 meters of fibreglass mural panels, providing a truly distinguished example of public art.
