Two years ago, we bought a 200-year old barn that had been a camp for decades in the twentieth century. It is beautiful and authentic, and also a handful. We work constantly to maintain it and also to keep the charm and simplicity that has made families love staying here every year, four seasons a year. We are on a beautiful lake, perfect for swimming, fishing, and paddling. We are also close by several major ski resorts, including Loon Mountain which is under 15 minutes away.
In real life, I am a user experience researcher. That means I help make things that people like and can use. My husband is an architect and builder. We have two sons, one four and the other four months. Both are get travelers and lots of fun. We also have a sweet dog named Rudy who stays home when we travel but loves our mountain house. My family and I rent out our home in the mountains of New Hampshire. We are also traveling this summer to Norway and Icleand.
When we travel we like to see nature, see buildings, learn about culture, meet people, and eat good food.
