Palazzetto da Schio is a 16th century Venetian private house, located on a wide, sunny canal in one of the best neighborhoods in Venice.
It is still owned and inhabited by the da Schio family, who have made it available to visitors.
This apartment on the mezzanine floor faces East and gets all the morning sun. The rooms look out over the canal.
It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living-room and kitchen. It is a favorite with guests who do not like climbing stairs.
The atmosphere is that of the elegant XVIIIth century Venice: it has some of the best family furniture and paintings of that period.
There is a pretty garden at the disposal of all the guests. That's the only place where you smoke in the Palazzetto. There is a table with chairs and many guests like to read there, have a drink or even a meal.
Palazzetto da Schio is also my house, so I am always there to help my guests, with any problem or advice.
Final cleaning is always included, utilities are charged separately depending on what is used.
Late Check In after 8pm is charged 50 Euro
The City of Venice has introduced a tourist tax to be paid at arrival. If you want more information about it please ask me.
The apartments are self catering.
The apartment is furnished with family antiques. Therefor we accept only guests who appreciate and know how to care for antique furniture.
