This is a small pebble beach, clean, with showers, a snack bar on the beach and a very nice hotel-restaurant just above (The Garden of Emile).

This beach is walking distance from the center of blackcurrant, and just above the cliffs of Cap Canaille, access to the sea is not very obvious because of the boulders that borders but its frame is still wild and magical. To get there: when you are at the roundabout at the Casino de cassis, take towards Cape rabble for 5 minutes, the beach is then indicated, you will find a small parking lot on the left.
The beaches and coves of Port Pin Port Miou;
Located in the creek of Port Pin, this beach is a 15 minute walk from the creek of Port Miou. This small sandy beach surprises with its beauty when it appears to bend in the trail that goes to the inlet of En Vau. Many rocks either side of the beach are ideal for tanning and for finding a corner away from the crowds of the summer season.

In Cassis, the vine has been cultivated since ancient times. This culture continues throughout the Middle Ages. The first King Rene, King winemaker himself will advance the culture of grapes from his return to Provence in 1492. It was under his reign that are introduced grape varieties Muscat from Italy, especially in Cassis. Year after year, Cassis extend the cultivation of vines on other parts of their land and to the late sixteenth century, the municipal archives mention of vineyards in the northern and eastern districts in addition to those existing already in the Southeast.
The wine of Cassis is one of the first to be awarded in 1936 the AOC, along with the Chateauneuf du Pape, the Arbois and Sauternes. The AOC Cassis is produced by 12 areas with 196 hectares of vineyards are located exclusively on the town of Cassis. The grapes are harvested by hand.
The vineyard is protected from the mistral by the impressive height of the surrounding hills. In this amphitheater, Cassis is under the dominance of a micro-climate for growing vines quality. A million bottles of the precious nectar are produced and consumed each year in the best restaurants in Cassis ... and the world.
