LOVED the place! The pictures on Airbnb when we booked, where not as how it really looked. It was SO much better! On the pictures you see a modern looking architectural wooden house. That whole house is yours. It is an old house fully redone by Tore as he is an architect, with respect for all the beautiful old details. Highly impressive. On the inside you still see the old beams, paint, old doors with pictures on it. Simply stunning. You can easily spend half a day just looking at how beautifully the restauration works and modernisations have been done with SO much work on all the details. The styling of the house is also well done with a lot of old pictures, photos, antique furniture etc. This also adds to the caracter and atmosphere of the house. Tore and Toril are very helpful with tips for hiking and in the house is a lot of information of what to do in the surroundings. We loved the walk on Kongsveien and went to beautiful Jotunheimen and hiked Grindafjell. We stayed for nearly a week, but we could easily spend 2 weeks in this lovely, quiet and beautiful house. We even met Tore and Toril a few days later in Oslo as we forgot a pair of glasses and they came to our app to return them to us. So very kind. As you understand: we highly recommend staying here! Go for it, really!
