Our house is huge & we love sharing it! I take pride in every detail to make the space feel beautiful, clean, and inspiring (see all reviews). There is space for you to unpack, store your food/pantry items, etc so that you feel as 'at home' as you can. As a guest on Airbnb I know what makes me feel 'at home' when I'm traveling; I strive to provide even more than that for you.
As you can see from the photos, it's family friendly and easily accommodates 4 adults AND children.
Master bedroom (king sized bed and crib); cozy room (queen sized bed, dresser to unpack, closet, small desk), common areas (huge living room, spacious, fully stocked chef's kitchen, porch, backyard), and baby's room, with the option of a convertible air mattress that can be one twin (two mattresses stacked), two twins (single on the floor), or one king sized air mattress (they attach to each other).
There are two full bathrooms, one with a double sink.
Street parking is free and easy on our block for those with cars.
You may also park in our driveway if our car isn't there.
Please note: this is our full time home so please be respectful.
Since you're booking the entire place for yourselves, we probably won't get the chance to meet, but we'll be standing by to answer any questions as they arise. Don't hesitate to reach out to us.
1. The home is professionally cleaned.
2. We get asked a lot about safety:
Our neighborhood looks gritty, but is safe. We've never had a problem in 7+ years of living here. That said, we advise all our guests to keep alert and conscientious when walking around (as you would in any urban area).
Take a cab if you're coming home very late from the city (around $7.00), and/or park at the Bart station ($2.50/day) so you have your car.
3. The listing is for 4 adults but we have a crib and baby room that can accommodate children. Please advise us if you plan to travel with children so we can prepare the space to welcome them as well.
We remove shoes inside the home.
If you want/need to smoke, please do so outside.
We have a (SUPER EASY) alarm system as a precaution; instructions are in the House Manual as well as written up in the home itself.

For us as hosts, Airbnb is more than just a way to make extra cash. We genuinely love meeting and connecting with new people, sharing our passion for where we live (both our home and the area), and offering phenomenal hospitality. We strive for the kind of care that one reads about in Greek mythology when someone stumbling at your doorstep could be a god in disguise :)
As guests, we are so grateful to have the freedom and flexibility that Airbnb offers, and we aim to leave your place exactly as we found it. I've been known to actually do light cleaning before heading out so as to make your job as a host easier ;)
Our lifestyle in CA includes the best of both nature adventures and culture experiences. We love cooking with local ingredients, eating delicious food from recommended haunts, playing with our son, gardening, and enjoy all of CA's amazing vistas.
If you choose to stay with us, we plan to take care of you.
If you accept our request, we'll be kind, generous, and respectful of your home and its rules.
