Our breezy studio apartment sits on oceanfront property, easily accommodates two and is located in a central area of the island to best serve your sightseeing desires. It's cleanly tucked away from the touristy areas and feels like vintage Hawaiian.
This is a comfortable, airy tropical studio apartment with French Doors and patio that opens up to a 90 ft walk of grassy lawn past the main house out to the ocean where you can enjoy the cool shade of huge palm trees and sit up on, or hop over the Lava Rock Wall that overlooks the rocky beach. Waves crash up on the wall at high tide and ebb out at low tide. From there you can get a 180 degree view of the entire south end of the island from Diamond Head to Waikiki, Honolulu up to the Ko'Olina side. It's a modest oceanfront property that consists of my 2 cottages that share the yard bordering the ocean. The view straight ahead toward the ocean from your French Doors is 25% beautiful turquoise blue Pacific Ocean and 75% is tropical foliage or vintage neighborhood houses. (The adjacent home that you would share the yard with is also our Airbnb listing and is best seen at the location= https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/5326506) The view from your apartment will have you enjoying watching the waves from your patio, reclining couch or from laying in the King size bed... and you can hear the waves crashing up on the rocks throughout the entire apartment all day and all night. Walk right up to the Lava Wall anytime of the day or night and enjoy the sea spray and magnificent view from sunrise to sunset. Those chairs you see in the picture are reserved just for you! It's a peaceful and vibrant feeling up that close to the water. You can smell the salt water and feel the ocean air on your skin. You won't want to leave....
There is a full kitchenette -3/4 size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, cook-plate for skillet meals, electric non-stick griddle, rice cooker, and an outside charcoal BBQ, utensils and pans are provided. No range top or oven, but is still absolutely everything you need to cook up most anything. We live in the upstairs unit, but all amenities for the studio are self contained and independent. There is a private designated off street parking with private door leading straight into the studio. Full size washer/dryer for your use and is free of charge...

Quiet Hours are strictly enforced- this is a quiet neighborhood
Do not allow sand to enter the home
Empty trash daily to outside bins
Do not leave open food or dirty dishes out on counter-tops overnight or while gone for the day.
Turn off A/C when not in unit
Security deposit is not required to be paid at the time of booking and will be waived if no claim is made by host at the time of guest departure. Airbnb requires nightly fees and cleaning fee to be paid in full at time of booking. This is a residential area and no loud partying at any time will be tolerated. Quiet hour on property starts at 10pm as this is a generally quiet area with working families needing the respect of polite guests. This is a relaxing place and is not appropriate for social event gatherings. No more than 2 "non-registered guests" allowed for visiting on property at any time. No pets are allowed under any circumstances. Kitchen cleanliness is a must and you will be expected to adhere to my 'Tropical Kitchen Rules' regarding open food and trash maintenance, etc. There is no smoking inside or within 20 ft of the house.
