Our Out-House which was constructed more than 100 years ago has a bed room with an en-suite bath and a veranda. This house was added to our 300 year old ancestral house later to accommodate guests. The house has been restored and renovated keeping intact its character and is furnished with antique furniture. The only modern amenities you could find would be the Air conditioner and bathroom fixtures.
Set among shady palm trees the house is in a 12 Acre property with the sea on one end. The beach is on a walking distance from the house. This Heritage home offers the discerning traveler a paradise retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday India. Here you can experience first hand the simple joys of life in the tranquil setting of an India home stay. The property has four houses of which one house is an over 300 year old ancestral house of the Arakal family, one of the most prominent Roman Catholic families of the region. I live in the same property with my family.

Hi im Abi.
I have been living at Marari at my 300 year old family home. I belong to the 12th generation of Arakal family (an ancient Roman Catholic family). We were into farming and live in a 12 acre ancestral property next to the beach.
I have converted my 300 year old ancestral home into a home stay and have been hosting since 1991. I live along with my family in the same property and have hosted tourists from around the world since then.
