Our private bedroom complete with private, spacious bath is just miles from downtown and beaches with easy access to freeways and the Trolley, which goes direct to downtown. Guests enjoy access to the main kitchen and outdoor patio and bbq.
This private room with attached private bathroom is a simple yet comfortable accommodation for two individuals. The room is set to one end of the home, apart from the other rooms, so you'll feel like the area is all yours. Your hosts will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
Guests have access to their private room and bathroom, washer and dryer (in their bathroom) as well as the kitchen, dining area, outdoor patio and grill.
Guests will be provided with a booklet of information about their accommodation as well as information about San Diego, our favorite places to eat and visit and how to get around. If guests have additional questions or they want to learn more about us and the area, we're happy to help and we'll be available as much as possible in these cases! If guests prefer to keep to themselves, that is perfectly fine too!
We expect our guests to treat our home as if it were their own and to respect us and our neighbors. We do not charge a cleaning fee but we expect guests to clean up after using shared spaces such as the kitchen and dining area. Please, no additional visitors sleeping over, no pets, and absolutely no smoking on the premises.
My name is Natalie and my husband is Eddie. We reside in San Diego, CA where I run a small business from home and my husband is a physical therapist. We LOVE to travel, especially throughout Latin America. We are both long distance runners and we love to explore new places and meet new people. We feel incredibly grateful to live in San Diego where the weather is (almost) always great, which means we can be enjoying the outdoors and all that this city has to offer year around.
Our first experience with Airbnb was when Eddie and I were guests of a kind host in Boston on the weekend of the Boston Marathon when the tragic bombings occurred. We were most appreciative of our host's flexibility, kindness and helpful nature during a chaotic time in the city for everyone there. This is the type of Airbnb hosts we try to be. Kind and helpful. Willing to give tips on what to see, where to go and how to get there if desired, but happy to give you your space and let you discover this great city as you please if that is preferred.
For guests who are considering staying with us, please note that we have a 1-year old in the home so some crying at night is possible, though she is typically a good sleeper and her room is at the opposite side of the home from yours. That said, we just want you to be aware of the potential for small disturbances that come with having a little one in the home!
