My mother, daughter, and I stayed at Christian's beautiful home for a week during June 22-June 29, 2016. It was not only beautiful, but in a perfect location. My daughter is attending the Copenhagen Business School for the summer and it was only a 5 minute walk to the school, mall, shops, grocery, restaurants, bakery, etc. We could not have asked for a better location and very safe to walk.....even late at night. Although, we did not get a chance to meet Christian, he was very nice and prompt in his responses to any questions I had. He messaged me several times so see if we were enjoying ourselves and to contact him should we need anything or everything. Christian was out of town when we arrived, so he had his friend Simon greet us and show us around the apartment. Simon was also very friendly and informative. He and Christian( Christian had a list on the counter for us) gave us tips on where to eat, parks, etc. Christian's home is very beautiful and clean. It looks exactly like the pictures. Lots of wonderful light with gorgeous large windows. You must take your shoes off before entering the home because he has newly renovated floors. That was a bit stressful for me, as I did not want to even get a crumb on the floor. My entire stay I worried about keeping his beautiful new floors clean. One more thing to note is that there is no iron so you will need to bring one with you. If you like cleanliness, safety, convenience, and a beautiful place to stay in an amazing area then I would highly recommend Christian's home.....you will not be disappointed. I must also note that my daughters' housing fell through and she was very upset. I messaged Christian to ask if he knew of anywhere she could stay. He did not know offhand, but he did provide a link for her to look for housing options. I truly appreciated his help in this matter.

Our stay in Copenhagen was highly delighted and mostly because of Christian's apartment. Very bright, quiet and so ideally situated, close to everything but not in a touristic area. Christian answered our questions very quickly, before and during our stay. We couldn't hope better place to stay. On the other hand the description was really conform to what it is. Just perfect!

A really good location and a great apartment for seeing the city. Plenty of good restaurants and a large shopping mall very close as well as the metro made the location excellent Could have done with a fan as the heatwave made sleeping a little difficult I would defiantly recommend this apartment if your staying in Fredriksborg

We stayed for a week in Christian's flat in July, with our young toddler. The flat is just as the images on Airbnb - it's a beautiful and stylish space! We found the flat was very clean and well equipped. Christian was not in Copenhagen so his friend and colleague Simon showed us the flat and was on hand during our stay for any issues. Christian was also very responsive on emails before and during our stay. Frederiksberg is the perfect location - the flat is minutes from the metro, plus you can walk to places such as Vesterbro and Tivoli very easily. Frederiksberg is great for families with lots of shops, cafes, green space and even the zoo! The flat is the family's home - a previous reviewer commented that they didn't expect this but this was very clear to us and we found we had plenty of space. The flat has beautifully renovated floors which we did feel worried about with our toddler charging around! For adults or older children this wouldn't be an issue - you just need to be very careful if you have a heavy handed little one like us. Other than that, the flat is lovely for children as there was a cot, Tripp Trapp chair and toys. One tip - if you want to watch TV bring a laptop with you as Christian has a projector, not a traditional TV, so you need to dock that in and then watch via the internet. Overall a lovely place to stay and experience local life in Copenhagen.

The hosts were very welcoming and the apartment is in a very good area 2 minutes walk from the metro and walking distance to lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. We had a lovely time sight-seeing in Copenhagen. However the apartment that I thought I had booked and that is in the photo's was NOT the apartment that we got and whilst it was quite nice there were a few niggles that I have pointed out below. 1. The bathroom was completely different to the photo's with a toilet in a small cupboard that my husband could hardly sit on without banging his head or knees on the door. The 'back door' is also in the bathroom(URL HIDDEN)2. There was no free wardrobe space for our things apart from a couple of small shelves in the bathroom which we did not use and 4 coat hangers on the coat rack. We did not really understand that the apartment would be full of the hosts personal things so I had to lay most of my clothes out on the sofa. 3.The lock on the inside of the front door is very temperamental and we had great difficulty in locking it sometimes 4. The bedding was a grubby grey colour (not sure if it used to be white or if it was supposed to be that colour) and was not ironed, though the bed was quite comfortable, I felt a little uncomfortable as it didn't look very clean. 5.The toilet had dark stains in the bottom, not sure if that was just how the pipes were but it didn't look very appealing. 6. The oven, toaster etc were not as clean as I would have liked though the apartment was clean overall. If this is the 'airbnb' experience it may just not be for us. When I am on holiday and paying what I consider to be a reasonable amount (£110 per night) I do at least expect to have a wardrobe to hang my clothes in. As I have said the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating and we had good communication before arriving, there are always the odd little niggles anywhere you stay and I would have been quite happy to gloss over those as we did have a nice stay but I am really quite disappointed that we did not get the apartment that I thought we were getting and I don't think that is acceptable.

The appartment is splendid, and exactly as described. Very nice design, very cosy, with a cute little balcony with a nice view, nice and big bathroom, everything u need in the kitchen. We visited during springtime, so there was a very nice daylight coming all in the house, which we loved! Situated in a great neighbourhood, very close to the metro station (200m) and with many stores very close (great bakery just around the corner, coffee shop, the Frederiksberg central shopping center. Only 3 stops via metro to the city center, Nyhavn and Magasin du Nord & Strøget (for all u shoppers ;) ) We didn't get to meet Christian, but he was very polite via e-mail and his responses were very fast. Also, it was nice of him to have left printed instructions on the use of home appliances (like the washing machine and the audio system), and proposals on places to visit (restaurants, shopping). If u visit "(URL HIDDEN) though, u will find aaalllll the info u need to choose from!... The Danes are very organised and they appreciate their capital, promoting it the way it deserves. Thumbs up! If u choose this appartment, you'll make a good choice. (Just bring along a set of slippers, because shoes are not allowed in the house ;) And visiting Copenhagen is a GREAT choice..! I'm in love with this city! :) Se dig snart, København !

Christian's place is superb. Great location, just 2 minutes from Metro and walking distance to the center. The house has plenty of light as it has several huge windows, really beautiful decorated, we loved his chairs :) The kid bedroom is great, it had everything we need, a crib, and toys, thank you for that :) He was very kind and helpful, we surely to come back to his place next time.

I live with my wife Mira and my 2 year old son Alfred. We have been living in Copenhagen most of our lives. I am a documentary film maker like Mira. We love the area and the parks of Frederiksberg and the city, the local feeling of a village in a big city. We travel a lot but likes to relax in our quiet backyard and hang out in our balcony. We like local places, meeting new people and getting experinces you do not find in guide books.
