This bright, newly renovated, open apartment is brilliantly placed: in a quiet pocket of richly creative Williamsburg, steps from the subway and a single stop from Manhattan's East Village, and poised between Greenpoint and Dumbo.
This apartment was recently renovated by Alberto (my boyfriend), and offers a clean, modern, open, and relaxing environment. The neighborhood is quiet (though richly diverse), and is in an incredible location to get to know Brooklyn as well as Manhattan. The apartment has a bedroom with a queen size (very comfortable) bed, a single air mattress if needed, and a very comfortable couch. The couch itself can easily be converted into 2 single beds, or 1 queen bed. It's possible to comfortably sleep 4 guests (great deal!). Fully stocked kitchen at your disposal, lovely fire escape with an incredible view of the Freedom Tower, and a luxury stone shower. One of my favorite features of the apartment is a hammock chair hanging in front of our front windows. Citibikes are very nearby, and we are just 3 blocks from the nearest subway.
A real New York novelty: a washer/dryer in the apartment!
Alberto and I will be out of town, but I am available anytime via text/email should you need anything. I will also have contact information for my sister who lives nearby who can help with anything you may need! I have been hosting via AirBnB for years, and I know what it takes to provide a comfortable, fun homebase for your travels!
We have a lot of respect for everyone who lives in our building, and though we welcome multiple guests in the apartment, please keep the noise down after midnight. Please don't use the bike hanging on the wall, bicycle theft is rampant here in NY.
I moved to the city 7 years ago and own a farm-to-table cafe, plant, and flower shop in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. I've been so happy living in NYC and I love showing others how to really get to know the city. Hint: it's not all about Times Square. On my favorite run down Kent Ave I run past New Yorkers sprawled out on the grass, sailboats, bridges, stunning architecture, and amazing food, and I cannot believe how lucky I am every time I run it. I am truly living the dream. I love good food and coffee and know where to send you. In my spare time I love yoga, hiking, reading, and anything to do with the arts.
I live with my boyfriend, Alberto, an Italian architect who gut-renovated our apartment. We are so lucky to live in a light-drenched, modern space with lots of greenery, steps away from some of the best restaurants, bars, and cafes in Brooklyn.
We also love to travel, so we know where you're coming from ;-)
