I expect you to look after my place while you are here. I would like you to change out of your street shoes as you enter the house, I have a light coloured carpet. There is no smoking in the house. Otherwise, just the normal courtesies and respect.
I am a retired secondary school principal. I have recently moved to Soldiers Hill in Ballarat after living on a small farm in Maryborough where I had a vineyard and produced a very good shiraz wine.
I have two sons who are 34 and 37.
My wife died of cancer in 2010 so I am on my own.
I love to travel and have been to Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Canada, USA, UK, Mexico,France,Scotland, Italy and New Zealand.
I enjoy photography and I am increasing my skills by studying an Advanced Diploma in Photography at the Photography Studies College in Melbourne. I have had work shown and sold at a number of exhibitions and do contract work for clients.
I am a non-smoker. I enjoy sharing good food and wine with my friends, music (I have a rather ecclectic taste), reading, live theatre and Australian Rules football. I walk around Lake Wendouree most days and like to look after my fitness and health.
I am a reliable guest in the Airbnb places I have stayed in; I am low maintenance and will keep your place neat and tidy. I love to meet new people and share experiences.
