Shared 2-BR in best neighborhood in Brooklyn. Easy travel to Manhattan via subway or cab. High ceilings, hardwood floors, new appliances, ceiling fan, a/c, internet connected tv/dvd. Available BR has queen size bed, large closet, 3 windows.
This is a wonderfully comfortable and convenient space in an idyllic neighborhood a stone's throw away from the bustle of Manhattan or one of the biggest new parks the city has to offer. It's conveniently located 1.5 blocks from 2 different subway lines and a few more blocks away from 2 other trains that will get you anywhere you need to go. There are great local spots to eat around the corner or you can snag a cab to the city for a fun night out. You'll enjoy relaxing in the neighborhood or walking over to Smith St. for authentic Brooklyn shopping or being close to the city and subway so you can quickly transition from work to going out. Please note that over the Thanksgiving holiday, the apartment will be private for you and your guests thus the higher price.
You will have full access to everything in the common area of the apartment which includes the kitchen, living room and bathroom. I keep a nice place and have everything necessary for cooking, cleaning and living well. The kitchen is large for an NYC apartment and has a full size convection microwave and gas stove. I have pots and pans and everything else you would need to cook. I only ask that you take good care of the things you use and clean up after yourself.
I like to meet everyone who stays if possible either in person or via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). It's important to me that everyone be comfortable with and respectful of one another and I've found this is the best way to make sure we're all off on the right foot.
The share is with a friendly, considerate IT professional who works early, comes home late and travels many weekends to see family in D.C. It's a 3rd floor walk-up.
This apartment is in a (mostly) quiet building in a nice neighborhood. I ask that food be carefully consumed on the couch using the food trays only as even water will stain it. I also ask that coasters be used for drinks on the chrome side table. Please also no shoes in the bedroom as the carpet is brand new.
I'm a single parent to a wonderful and quickly growing toddler. I'm trying to get back to work full time but have split a lot of time between east and west coast over the past few years which makes things difficult. I love good food and and have transitioned from eating great food at restaurants around NYC to learning to make it at home. My style of travel is minimal fuss. I would love to go somewhere international or on a vacation period! It's been waaaaay too long.... I'm clean, neat and quiet and aim to get the most out of a new destination by exploring as much as possible.
