This studio is very conveniently located to the MTR, restaurants etc. If you are interested in going to places like Bar Amazonia it is right down the street. The place was a bit smaller than I imagined from the photos (which is to be expected in Hong Kong). Kity was preparing the place when I arrived, but there were plenty of places nearby to hang out while I waited. She put clean sheets and towels in the room for my arrival. My issue was with the cockroaches that appeared while I was cooking. I do want to mention although I was disappointed with cleanliness, Kity is an extremely nice host. She brought me traps and spray to help with the issue, but it was something I did not want to deal with living in Hong Kong for the summer. I ended my stay early and went to a different part of town. Also note the strict refund/cancellation policy. My advice is that the place is conveniently located to some of the bars if you have a short stay and that is what you are looking for.
Had a wonderful stay and Kitty could not have been a better host. Here directions and instructions were easy to follow and I had no problem finding the apartment or getting it. Kitty was very proactive and anticipated all my needs before I ever needed to contact her. (refilled the Toilet paper, were to leave the key, etc.) Apartment is exactly as described. While small the location is super convenient for anyone who is planning to attend a show at the Hong Kong convention center. The covered walkway is only a half a block away negating the need for an umbrella if its raining.
The listing description was accurate. Kitty met with my fiance to deliver a key as I wasn't arriving until later, but there was some delay in check in, something to do with wifi inop and cleaning the room as the previous guest left very late apparently, and at 7:30 PM the room still wasn't ready so my fiance just left bags there to come meet me. I don't remember if the listing said to bring your own towels, but do if you want a shower. I just needed a place to sleep for a few hours and left early in the morning anyway, but I did kind of need wifi and never did get it to work. If that's important to you, I would recommend verifying that it is working. But it is a bed in the perfect location which is what mattered to me and the AC worked.
This is the perfect centrally located place from which to explore HK and the neighborhood definitely still has some personality which is nice. As advertised, it's quite small but every apt I saw here was and you're not going to spend the whole time in the room (right)? Really an unbeatable deal for the price in Wan Chai, from where you can easily get to Central, ferries, etc. Kitty is a great host, I ran into some trouble at the end of my trip that delayed my leaving and she went really far out of her way to help me out and was very understanding. Totally recommend this spot, especially to other solo travelers in HK!
