Come stay at the Curtis House in Ashfield, MA. Mom's room is a bedroom that is filled with plants and books, my mother's paintings and big open windows. There is an attached bathroom. This room fits one or two people comfortably.
Our 19th-century home was built by George William Curtis, then the editor of Harpers Weekly. It’s a charming, sprawling old house that abuts the town green. Curtis and his wife, Anna Shaw, called this home in the summers.
Mom's Room is a bedroom filled with light and beautiful paintings, knick-knacks and plants. It features a full bed, big open windows and an attached bathroom with clawfoot tub.
The guest will have access to wireless internet and a landline for local calls. There is no cell service in Ashfield, so it is perfect for retreating and resting. Feel free to relax in and around the house. Sit on the porch, wander through the gardens, smell the flowers and visit the chickens!
There are three bedrooms at the Curtis House you may rent. You are able to rent out the whole house if you like.

I am a gardener, florist, caterer and mother. My work revolves around creating special events for people on my property or around Pioneer Valley. I went to school for ceramics and glassblowing, and I always am in the middle of crafting or making something, which you will see once entering my home. My home is nestled in the hills of Western Mass.
