The large but cozy bedroom has a queen bed and large bow window overlooking a lovely back garden. Your large and warmly furnished private Living Room has a fireplace, comfortable furnishings and picture window that overlooks the river valley parkland across the street. You have your own fully equipped kitchen and a charming bathroom with antique claw foot tub and shower. In this residential heritage area, you can walk to many river valley trails for hiking or biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Local antique stores, spa, coffee shops, restaurants and a book store are just 2 blocks away. Edmonton is festival city in the summer with a different festival every week from June through August. Bus and light rail transportation takes you to downtown Edmonton with Roger's Place, night life and restaurants, in only 10 minutes. Walk to Historic Borden Park , to the race track at Northlands, and to Rexall Place for sporting events and concerts.
Your Hostess is hospitable, well traveled, and she enjoys meeting new and interesting people. The property is 'protected' by Rocky the pug who loves everyone. This is a this is a clean, quiet retreat for non-smokers.
You have your own private suite with a separate entrance. Front and back both have lovely garden views and you are welcome to enjoy the furnished patio and fire place.

I have a small pug dog who is my buddy. He is very sociable and loves any attention he can get. But he will not impose on you.
- We live a quiet life conscious of preservation of a green environment. Our home is clean, tidy and well maintained. We expect that you will enjoy this and respectful keep it the same way.

- Quiet hours 10pm till 8am....although it is basically quiet from our end all the time.
I am a friendly, independent, creative and artistic professional woman who has traveled extensively worldwide, both back packing and 5* vacations. I love to meet new and interesting people . A neat clean environment is important to me but I am able to ruff it too when necessary. My educational background is in Biology, Psychology, and Textile Design. I have been an artist and a Realtor (now retired) for a number of years but since 2005 my main passion has been my community development project in western Kenya. If you are interested, I am happy to share this with you. My precious little pug dog is named Rocky. He is friendly, gentle and loves visitors too. I love the ocean, the mountains, the outdoors in general, art, culture, heritage, people, and animals. Ballroom dance has been my sport passion and I enjoy music of all kinds.... except rap.
