All guests will have access to a large sitting room and dining room as well as being able to enjoy any of the outside garden, woods and sun terrace. There is a separate family sitting room at the end of the house. Guests can come and go as they wish during the day.
We welcome you to our family home and are very happy to share any information about local events, restaurants etc - we want your stay to be as relaxing as possible - a home from home.
We have a family dog who is very friendly and adores children. We are unable to accept any visiting pets of any kind.
We have a no smoking policy anywhere in the house though you may smoke outside
My husband Geoff and myself have lived here for 30 years and have always had a very busy household with 3 daughters (and lots of their friends) growing up plus their ponies, dogs & cats.
Now that our youngest daughter has left home, I felt that the house was much too quiet and decided to open our home to visiting guests.
We have recently joined airbnb on the recommendation of a friend and our first guests came earlier this year and I am really enjoying being a hostess ! I love meeting people and want to ensure that all guests have a wonderful break whilst they are with us and are thoroughly spoiled.
The things I love are family life, long walks, cutting the grass, music, books, cooking, chocolate - me in a nutshell.
