Benedetta's place could not have a more perfect location, if you are in Rome to eat, drink, and live as the Romans do. If it's your first time in Rome, and you have 2 days to try and see everything Rome has (you needed to schedule more time), I wouldn't recommend Trastevere in general since it's on the West side of the city. But it is in close proximity to some of the best restaurants, bars, and people-watching in Rome. It's definitely in the heart of the most fun part of the city, which is why we chose it, and it didn't disappoint.
The place was clean, she had a friend meet us and explain everything in detail, and she was available for any minor issues. Rome in July and August is a sauna, but the A/C helped mitigate that (not all places have it). It was a great value for the price and location, and I will definitely see if it's available again on our next trip to Italy.
