I'm a self employed designer very fortunate to be working with hand loomed luxury textiles. My work regularly takes me to India for long periods and I love being immersed in such an exotic culture - I am constantly delighted and renewed by the experience. Overall I'm a visual being... but smell, taste, touch and sound all make life wonderful. I'm a passionate cook, keenly pursuing my interest in food that is organic, fresh and delightful. I dream of building an exquisite garden one day. In most things I prefer old over new and slow over fast (technology excluded!) Although my childhood was spent in the country, I've lived in Melbourne for most of my adulthood and consider it home. I work from home and feel best in a light space, surrounded by things I love. I have a wonderful pet canary that I rescued from a tree. He's very happy, flying freely in the house and singing a lot. In opening my home I am welcoming you into my world. As a host I hope to be generous and sensitive to your needs but not intrusive. I hope that you will feel comfortable and at home here.
